These 3 Europa electric fire suites come with a choice a electric fire, and each uniquely designed firpelace surround the back panek and hearth. The optional fires have a range of finishes and all include a remote control which gives an added touch of class to the suites. Europa have also allowed the option for the electric fire, that has a maximum heat output of 2kW, to feature a realistic coal or pebble fuel bed effect as both fuel effects come with each suite, so if you change your decoration, or mind, you can alter the fuel bed effect.

Europa Bingen Suite

The Europa Bingen Suite is a complete suite that consists of fireplace surround, decorative gas fire that sits in a traditional styled cast iron insert and with a beautiful granite hearth.
The Bingen has just been released by Europa and as far as we are aware is yet another first for Fires,Fireplaces,Stoves as we are yet again first to be publicising this complete natural gas suite's details online.
We are extremely excited about and impressed with the Europa Bingen Gas Suite, as it is truly a beautiful addition to the Europa ranges. The Bingen Suite has a 54inch mantel shelf and has a natural oak effect finish as does the rest of the surround. The hearth that is included with the Bingen gas suite is a black granite hearth, and it has the same width as the mantel shelf.
At this point you may be thinking, well what's so special about this gas suite then?, and rightly so, but here comes the pure excellence of Europa, unlike most other gas surrounds this surround does not have a back panel, it however has a solid cast iron insert that also acts as the back panel.
Europa give a choice of cast iron inserts, the Jubilee or the Lytton, and as expected Europa have yet again taken these well-known and popular cast designs and added little touches of brilliance. An example of this is adding the additional detail of including a fixed damper plate, that remains open and adds a stylish authentic touch to the insert. The Europa Bingen inserts are also highly complemented with the realistic coal fuel effect that is included with the open fronted decorative gas fire.
This is a truly magnificent package that has been stylishly put together by Europa, it wouldn't surprise me if they run out of stocks super quickly so if you like the look of the suite snatch it up quickly, and you'll be able to as Europa has managed to produce all this package and choice and keep the price more than affordable.

60 Minute Makeover!

Some of you may have noticed the electric suite on yesterday's 60 Minute Makeover, if you're wondering what it was so you too could own the stunningly clean and classic lines we have the answer.

The Europa Argo electric suite, provided by Fireplace Megastore is made in a beautiful stone effect finish with easy to reach top controls for the 2kW Yorker electric fire.

The beautiful clean lines and classical styling mean this unit would fit beautifully in most living spaces and the fully freestanding nature of this unit means no having to make a hole in the wall for fitting.

The Yorker electric fire features thermostatic control allowing for easy room temperature maintenance and remote control as standard. The flame effect is able to operate independantly of the heat settings allowing you to create the desired ambience on a summers evening when perhaps additional heat is not required.

Europa Complete Firplace Suites

The new fireplace suites by Europa are the Hanover and the Sofia. These suites come as a package that include the fire, mantle surround, back panel and hearth. The suites have been designed to suite most homes as they both come with a large variety of components that selectable and these choices are not usually available when purchasing a complete suite.
Both the Hanover suite and Sofia Suite have mantle surrounds that come in a natural oak finish that is available in a choice of sizes, either 54inch or48 inch. The size refers to the mantle shelf width, and whichever one is selected will have a hearth width that is the same size in width. The back panel and hearths that come with the suite are available in either a black granite or beige micro marble finish.
Europa have, quite uniquely, provided the option with these suites to select what type of fire you would like from a large range of styles and effects, most noticeably the choice of either a gas or electric fire.
The Sofia and the Hanover suites start to differ a little when the fires come into play, the Sofia has a large selection of cast iron, traditionally styled inset fires, while the Hanover has the more modern styled fire with brass or chrome effect finishes.
Both have the electric option that also come with a battery operated remote control as standard and coal and pebble fuel effects are included as well. The electric suites can be used as freestanding suites, as they do not require having a chimney or flue.
The natural gas fires that Europa has supplied with these suites are available in a full depth or slim line version. The full depth version gives a greater heat output and is designed for use in a conventional chimney (class 1), while the slim line gas fire option allows the suite to be used in a chimney but also prefabricated flues too.
The Europa Sofia Suite differs again from the Hanover as it has low voltage down lights, or spotlights, as part of the suite. This addition adds an additional touch of class, and the control switch is neatly concealed by the mantle overhang. A lovely effect but be aware that these lights will need an additional electricity supply which may be overlooked when buying a gas version of the suite.
The Sofia and Hanover suites by Europa are available at very reasonable prices from all good fireplace suppliers and are a great option if you require a complete fire/surround suite.
