The Endeavour 3D

Evonic Fires is a brand of CK fires, situated in rural Warwickshire and are focused on provided a wide selection of quality fires, built in the Britain, available from many independent fireplace retail outlets.
Evonic Fires have unveiled their latest offering. The Endeavour 3D hang on the wall electric fire. This ultra-slimline electric fire utilises the same technology that makes the Brilliant Newdawn-E so popular with the choice of seven different fascias to creates a stunning electric fire that not only looks good, but also gives a great heat output for an electric fire at 2kW with built in thermostat.
The Endeavour uses a log fuel effect to create a very realistic looking electric fire, also creating the illusion that the fire is deeper than it actually is, further adding to the realism of the flame effect.
Available in the almost standard electric fire finishes of black glass and gloss black, the Endeavour 3D also breaks from the norm offering the choice of Grey Mirror, Brushed Aluminium, Calcite White and Stone Effect. However the crowing glory of the Endeavour 3D is the solid Oak Fascia that is available, this truly combines the best of having a natural wood surround and inset fire with having a modern hang-on-the-wall electric fire.
The natural grain of the fascia frames and complements the flame effect in the centre, adding even more ambience to that of a standard black glass electric fire.
And built with almost exclusively British components, you can be sure that when buying an Evonic fire, you are supporting the British economy, especially important in these difficult financial times.
You can now view the Evonic Endeavour 3D complete with black glass fascia, alongside the Evonic Euphoria Stove and Almyra hang on the wall electric fire now on live display at Fireplace Megastore.

Brilliant E-Motion

Is the Fire On The Right Gas Or Electric?

Gas?

Electric?

Not Sure?

The Brilliant E-Motion looks like a full depth gas fire, but is in fact a very slim inset electric fire. It has been designed by the makers of the Newdawn, Brilliant and features the same silent LED flame effect that will cost you less than £1 per year to run based on using the flame effect EVERYDAY for 5 hours a day.

The flames emerge from within the fuel bed and appear to be burning in a ribbed fireback, the unique flame effect will make almost anyone question whether they are looking at an electric fire or an actual gas fire!

Available in a choice of black, brass or silver finishes and features the Media Fret in black, aluminium or brass finishes allowing the flexibility to suit almost room style. The slimeline depth means that this fire can be fitted against a flat wall in any surround with a 76mm standard rebate. This means even houses without any additional depth can have an ultra-realisic fire without having to use a spacer.

The E-Motion boasts a slimline canopy, making the fire look even more realistic without a bulky canopy sticking out of the front of the fire. Highline master controls and concealed heater controls feature a thermostat and 1 or 2kW heat output settings.

This ultra-realistic fire is now on display at the Fireplace Megastore

Katell Alston Electric Fire Suite

The Katell Alston is a designer electric suite featuring contemporary lines and styling to give a very modern look, this is combined with the curved black glass of the inclusive Katell Hendon electric fire offering deep contrast that draws the eye in towards the realistic coal fuel effect and enviraflame technology, arguably one of the most realistic flame effects on an electric fire over the past decade that utilises LED technology and a unique transparent screen to project the flame effect onto. Three different levels of light allow maximum control of the fire via the included remote control.

Unlike many other electric fires where the fan heater is clearly visible and sometimes detracts from the visual impact of the fire the 1.5Kw fan heater is discreetly hidden under the canopy and features high-level and remote controls for ease of use.
The sandstone or neutral chiltern finish would blend harmonisiously with most modern styles of decor and create a contemporary focal point of any living room. The modern lines and stepped inset further combine to draw the eye to the realistic fire in the centre.

LED Bulbs

LED BulbsLight emitting diodes to the tech savvy, typically these bulbs are high tech while being very strong durable and with an extraordinary lifespan. White LEDs quickly matched and overtook the efficiency of standard incandescent lighting system by some distance, while standard bulbs work at around 16% efficiency, measured by its light output per unit power input, LEDs work at around 90%. Typical lifetimes are 25,000 to 100,000 hours, this is either 11 years of non-stop operation, or 22 years of 50% operation. The long operational life of a led lamp is a vast contrast to the standard life span of an incandescent bulb, which is around 5000 hours. This means less changes and more value for your money.

Dru Metro 120eA brilliant example of how LED bulbs can make a fire look realistic is theDrugasar Metro 120e which uses unique LED technology for low energy consumption using only 15 watts which is less than a average light bulb!
