Apex Rivas 60

This popular fire by Apex is the Rivas 60 High Efficiency Hole in the wall gas fire, suitable for class 1 or class 2 chimneys or flues.

The Apex Rivas 60 features a landscape glass-fronted viewing aperture to showcase the dancing flame effect with either logs or pebble to create the highly desirable ambience of being sat in front of a glowing fire. The Apex Rivas 60 is available in natural gas only this fire is available in four stylish and contemporary finishes black, copper, chrome and grey and has been features on the channel 4 program Grand Designs.

The twin-level frame really draws the eyes in and can give a post-modern and textured finish while maintaining the strong straight lines that draw the eye in towards the fire.
When lit the driftwood fuel effect comes to life with the flames and when combined with the black back really projects the glow and heat from the fire into the room, At 80% efficient and with a 5.5Kw heat output this fire would be more than adequate to heat the average living room providing a class 1 or 2 chimney or flue is available.

With the inclusive remote, you need not leave the comfort of your seat to adjust the fire and really help warm the room and develop that atmosphere on a cold wintery evening.
Inset just 275mm into the wall this fire can easily be situated into an existing chimney breast to become the focal point of the room.

The Apex Rivas 60 Glass Fronted High Efficiency Hole In The Wall Gas Fire would be best situated in an existing chimney breast in a finish contrasting with the colour of the walls and that contrast would draw the eye to the fire and help project the glow and heat outwards into the room.
